2.    Who is GATHER Brave, Honest Conversation Online for?

  • Gather is for anyone who wants to have more brave, honest conversations in your life, organization or community.

  • If you are an organizational leader, coach, facilitator, public engagement practitioner, or elected official Gather is directly relevant to your work.

  • If you are a human being who wants to live a fuller life, find their courage and step into what matters most you will find something for you at Gather.

  • If you want closer relationships with colleagues, co-workers, neighbours and family then gather will give you specific tools to use in your interactions.

  • Brave, Honest conversations aren’t just for a project or tough conversation – they are for every day and everyone.

3.    How can I convince myself or my boss that I should attend?

4.   When is GATHER Brave, Honest Conversations Online?

Back by popular demand! Our second Gather event will be November 4-8, 2019. The live webinars will run each day from noon to 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time. 

5. How many live sessions of Gather will there be?

There will be ONE live session each day for a total of 5 live sessions. The sessions will be about an hour and a half long.  

6. Can you tell me more about these LIVE sessions?

Sure! Here’s the scoop. Every day for 5 days we will come together for a live webinar where Steph will walk you through the day’s topic, what it is, why it matters and how to do it. You will get a chance to ask questions and get answers. Over the 5 days we will explore themes so you can bravely lead challenging conversations. Each day will cover a different theme:

  • Brave, Honest Conversations in the PUBLIC ARENA

  • Brave, Honest Conversations in your ORGANIZATION

  • Brave, Honest Conversations with YOURSELF

  • Brave, Honest Conversations at HOME

  • Brave, Honest Conversations for really TOUGH, EMOTIONAL TOPICS

7.  Is there anything I need to bring with me for sessions?

An open heart and all the courage you can muster! It will also help to have a notebook and pen handy. We encourage you to be really present and as much as possible leave other commitments for break times so you can dive deeply into the theme of the day.

8.  Are your sessions accessible?

We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all. If you require any assistance our team is here to work with you. All sessions will be delivered in English.

9.   What platform are you using online? I want to make sure my technology works.

Gather will run on the Crowdcast platform. There is no software for you to download and you can join from anywhere! Crowdcast is supported in most modern browsers. Click here for a list of compatible browsers.

10. Does Crowdcast work on mobile?

Yes! Crowdcast is supported on Android (and iOS) devices. Find more information here.


1.     I’m having trouble registering. Who do I contact?

We hope we’ve made registration simple and seamless but if you hit a snag we are here to help! And we profusely apologize. Please contact Steph for assistance.

2.     When is the deadline to register?

Registration closes November 1, 2019. We really don’t want you to miss out! We’re building a tribe of brave, honest conversation seekers and would love for you to be a part of it.

3.     Can I register more than one person?

Sorry, but no. Each person must register separately. Please ensure the email you provide in the registration process is for the attendee. A private link to join the event will be sent to that email address.

4.     I made a mistake when registering. What do I do?

Having brave, honest conversations is tough and registering can be tough too. Don’t fret! Contact us and we can help. 

5.     I’m registered! Now what happens? 

Thank you! We’re so excited that you’ll be joining us. An email will be sent to confirm your registration, along with the option to add Gather to your calendar. Once you register you will have instant access to the event page, including the polls, chat, and Q&A.


1.     What form of payment do you accept?

Registration is online and we accept all major credit cards.

 2.     I have a discount code. Where do I use it?

Thanks for being part of our tribe! You can enter your coupon code right on the registration page. Before you click the green “Register Now” button click on the “use coupon” link right below. Then enter your coupon code. Contact us if you need further assistance.


1.     I purchased my seat and now I am unable to attend. What do I do?

Good news! Even if you are unable to attend the live sessions, you can still access the session recordings, resources, exercises and additional work. When you registered you were sent a live, personalized link to access the sessions so we don’t offer refunds.
