Jane Purvis has been a public engagement advisor with the City of Edmonton since 2013. Previously, among other things, she worked as a planning and engagement consultant in the private sector for a planning and engineering firm. Through all of her work in various roles supporting better engagement at the City, Jane aims to help citizens feel connected to their community and that they’ve meaningfully contributed to the decision-making process and resulting outcomes. She's also particularly interested in the notion of harmony: what it is, what it feels like, and its value and expression.

Jane also likes taking photographs, riding her bike, Cara Cara oranges, peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and good sleeps.
