Holding the Space Between Inclusion and Equity

“Weighting” community engagement: whose voice gets the most weight? When we apply a lens of inclusion we lean towards all voices being equal, and no single voice being more important than another. When we lean towards equity we look at issues of right, fairness, marginalization, power and influence and weighting of voices becomes an important consideration. Join me for a shared exploration of this important issue - I don't have all the answers, but hopefully we find some new ones together!
